Redemptions
Congratulations, you pulled a redemption card! Now what?
If you want to redeem the card immediately, fill out this form. That will let us know where to send your physical copy, but more importantly, it will notify us of your intent to redeem the card. Once we're aware of this, the NFT will be updated to indicate that redemption of the card is pending.
Once the physical cards arrive at our office, we'll review the list of redemption requests and prep the cards for shipping. When the card ships, the NFT will be marked as “redeemed” on the web site.
If you want to sell the card on the marketplace, that's also an option. However, once we mark a card as “Redemption Pending” or “Redeemed,” the marketplace entry will be updated to reflect that. Other users may not be willing to pay as much for a card that's already been redeemed, so you may need to relist your NFT at a lower price.
We also will only ship a physical card to the person who owns the NFT at the time we ship.
Why? So someone doesn't unknowingly purchase an NFT thinking they can redeem it for a physical card.
Bottom line, if you want to ensure that you get the physical card, don't list the NFT in the marketplace until you've received your copy.
